Tavistock Shower Enclosures – Oxygen 8
Tavistock have predominantly been associated with manufacturing high quality bathroom furniture and ceramics. They have recently moved into brassware and now following extensive research and design they have launched an inspiring range of shower cubicles that will be at the forefront of luxury.
The shower cubicle range manufactured by Tavistock Bathrooms is called Oxygen 8. They have developed a range to cover all criteria’s within the showering market from standard size Quadrants Hinged Doors right through to Sliding Doors and Side Panels.
Build Quality - 8mm Glass
All the shower cubicles in the Oxygen 8 range have the same basic principles. They are all manufactured in 8mm toughened safety glass which gives the enclosure a solid build quality and they are also coated with Guardshield glass protection which gives added peace of mind in a family home.
All the Oxygen 8 cubicles have a unique handle which is ‘chunky’ in design and gives an appealing aesthetic look which will become the main focal point in any bathroom. The fixings which on many shower cubicles are covered by screw caps have been fully encapsulated to make the overall finish inside the cubicle flawless; there is no ugly hardware on show just smooth lines and polished chrome profiles.
All the cubicles are finished to a height of 1950mm this gives a great advantage in bathrooms as ceiling height can be lower than in other rooms once fitted on a low profile tray the height of the showering enclosure is still less than 2000mm. The wall profiles have 20mm adjustment which is a great advantage for ‘out of true’ walls allowing fitment however uneven the surfaces are.
The doors which use the rolling system are manufactured with brass/stainless steel rollers which have a quick release system to aid cleaning and fitment. The hinged door cubicles have high quality brass hinges that have been manufactured to the highest possible specification to maintain a smooth operation with the weight of the glass.
