The Tavistock Kobe 700mm floorstanding basin unit is the newest addition to the Kobe range available in gloss white, american walnut and black it provide a more substantial basin and storage unit than other pieces in the Kobe range. The unit is supplied complete with the high fronted ceramic basin which enhances the overall design and completes the look. The basin features a single tap hole designed for a mono basin mixer tap (not supplied).
The unit has a double door frontage fitted with soft close doors to ensure a controlled, quiet closure and a luxury finish

700mm Kobe Basin
A very satisfactory purchase - installed in an en-suite bathroom. Stylish, simple lines and successful. The basin shape itself is a sort of half-barrel and takes a bit of getting used to compared to a more rounded basin shape. It does not hold as much water as one might expect but that is probably a good thing. Because the front is straight, you do need to lean forward a little more to use it for washing your face etc. The floor-standing cupboard is also very successful and installation did not seem to cause much of a problem for the plumber. Ordering and delivery from bathshop321 was good. It is worth noting that the 560mm Kobe unit does not have an overflow whereas the 700mm does. The Kobe illustrations and catalogue do not explain this clearly and it caused us some problems but not with bathshop321. Price-wise, at the discounted rate it seemed reasonable value for money. I think it would be over-expensive at the full recommended price.
