The Idea cabinets are a range of sleek, anodised aluminium cabinets with integrated fluorescent lighting.
The solid and robust construction of the curved aluminium body makes it hardwearing, completely rust proof and easy to maintain - ideal for use within the bathroom environment.
Cleverly designed integrated fluorescent lighting down each side of the cabinet, which provides useful task lighting as well as illuminating inside the cabinet when the doors are open. 2 x 15w lamps.
Idea cabinets also feature a safe and easy to use on/off switch which enables the user to activate the lighting without the need to touch the cabinet (not sticky finger marks). Simply move your hand in front of the sensor to activate. As the cabinet features infrared technology it must be mounted a minimum of 150mm from an adjacent wall or obstruction to ensure the sensor functions correctly.
Idea cabinets also feature an internal power socket for electric shavers and toothbrushes (keeping unsightly sockets cleverly hiden from view). The shaver socket can be operated independently to the lights, a red LED light indicates power on/off.
All cabinets in the Idea range benefit from soft close doors providing a controlled and quiet closure. The smart polished chrome handle is easy to use and completes the look.
The cabinet is supplied with three adjustable glass shelves to provide ample storage for a variety of bathroom products.
The Idea unit has two stylish double sided mirror doors, allowing the mirrors to be used whether the door is open or closed.
The Idea double door cabinet measures 706mm high and 610mm wide and 142mm deep.

Tavistock Idea Bathroom Cabinet
This cabinet seemed at first to be a bit expensive, but it so well designed and built that it is well worth every penny, especially when heavily discounted by bathshop321. It is a pleasure to use, and looks seriously impressive. It is made from aluminium extrusions and is so robust that it should last for many years. I am well pleased with mine and would recommend it to anyone.
