The Roc range from Mayfair all feature stylish single lever designs, making it easy to control both water flow and temperature.

The brass bodies of Mayfair taps are all 59% or higher copper content and have undergone extensive salt spray testing during manufacture. Cheaper taps have low copper contents and traditional undergo shorter salt spray tests. This means that those taps look beautiful to begin with but they quickly (1/2 years) corrode and tarnish.

Other reasons why this tap is exceptional quality is the polishing stage prior to the electroplating with nickel is very thorough to unsure a thick but even coverage. If you look at a cheap tap at an angle you can often see "waves" in the plating and this is because the bond (nickel) is not thorough and even - Mayfair Taps are perfectly polished and the nickel is evenly distributed making the chrome finish beautiful and flawless.

Features:

This tap benefits from ceramic disk cartridges, a simple device within the tap that improves its performance and gives it a longer life.

Whilst these taps are suitable for low pressure systems, the recommended minimum water pressure is 0.5 bar, so whilst they do work on low pressure systems such as gravity fed / tank and cylinder systems for optimum performance you should have a pressurised system such as a combination boiler or megaflow etc.
