We have our own fleet of vans and our drivers are trained specialists used to handling and delivering bathroom products with care. The brass body of this taps contains over 59% copper content and has undergone extensive salt spray testing during manufacture.
Cheaper taps have low copper contents and traditional undergo shorter salt spray tests. This means that those taps look beautiful to begin with but they quickly (1/2 years) corrode and tarnish. This tap comes with a 10 year guarantee.
Other reasons why this tap is exceptional quality is the polishing stage prior to the electroplating with nickel is very thorough to unsure a thick but even coverage. If you look at a cheap tap at an angle you can often see "waves" in the plating and this is because the bond (nickel) is not thorough and even - This tap is perfectly polished and the nickel is evenly distributed making the chrome finish beautiful and flawless.
Finally the chromium finish that is electroplated onto the tap is 50 microns thick, evenly distributed and perfectly polished.
