Hi, to all readers of our Bathshop321 blog.
A thought occurred to me when i think of the popularity of P Shape Shower Bath Suites. They are our biggest seller by some way and i thought about trying to establish why. Go back 10 years and almost all baths were straight, of course trends come and go and maybe another design will evolve which suits consumers even more.
Maybe it is just the fact that most people are very limited for space in their bathrooms and need the bath to perform as an enclosed showering area and bath as required. My personal preference would be a enclosed power shower and a separate free standing bath just because i think it would look great in my bathroom.
Of course this is part of the problem most people don't really have the room to fit a separate bath and shower area in their houses and so naturally a p shape suite is the ideal solution.
A lot of people seem to go for the curved screen which encloses the bath providing the user with an enclosed showering area. So from that point of view i can certainly understand their popularity with the end user. I think that a lot of the ideas come from the media and home improvement programmes showing the user just how easy [at least in theory] it is to fit a bathroom suite without paying a plumber.
