Strict Bathroom Rules at the Sochi Games!

It looks like participants in the Sochi Games will have to keep their bathroom antics to a minimum after Canadian snowboarder Sebastien Toutant posted an image from his hotel room’s bathroom that prohibits a number of toilet-based activities.

It looks like participants in the Sochi Games will have to keep their bathroom antics to a minimum after Canadian snowboarder Sebastien Toutant posted an image from his hotel room’s bathroom that prohibits a number of toilet-based activities.

The sign illustrated the bathroom do's and don'ts!

The sign, which illustrates a number of bathroom do’s and don’ts ensures participants will have to follow hotel rules, including ‘Don’t be sick in the toilet’, ‘Don’t stand on the toilet’ and even ‘Don’t fish in the toilet’!

Sebastian Tweeted fans with this questionable toilet sign.

Taking to Twitter with a photo of the sign, Sebastien said: ‘Well that’s interesting… Sochi rules in the bathrooms!!’

While many of the images are there for a reason, some of them do seem a little out of place; namely ‘no fishing’, ‘no squatting on the toilet’ and ‘no getting drunk on the bathroom floor’. While the rules are obviously there for the participants’ own good, it makes us wonder if these rules came as a result of some previous bathroom blunders!

If Sebastian was bemused simply by the sign in his bathroom, wait until he sees this picture featuring two biathlon athletes showcasing two side-by-side toilets!

Side-by-side toilets discovered at Sochi Games!

The toilets in a men’s bathroom caused a social media sensation last month when they were discovered at the biathlon venue for the Sochi Olympics and swiftly became a national joke in Russia.

And now more recently, another twin-toilet bathroom has been discovered, right under the noses of the world’s media.

Built for two, the toilets were found in a lavatory for female staff and volunteers conducting security checks of journalists at the new Main Media Centre. The Sochi organising committee initially denied knowledge of the second twin toilet, and later refused to comment.
