Duravit Durapoint 400mm Washbowl - Matt Black

Duravit Durapoint 400mm Washbowl - Matt Black

Want your basin to be the talking point? The Duravit Durapoint 400mm round washbowl in matt black is compact enough for an en-suite or cloakroom vanity, with a little more bowl space for everyday use.

Durapoint is Duravit's contemporary range of sit-on washbowls and wall-mounted consoles, designed to work together, so your basin and furniture are matched without any guesswork. It's made from durable, high-quality ceramic by a German brand that has been crafting bathroom ceramics in the Black Forest since 1817.

Matt black creates instant contrast on a light worktop or a graphite console, and it looks great with black, brushed or chrome taps. Bold, but never shouty.

Why you'll love it

• Round sit-on design, 400mm wide x 400mm projection
• Matt black finish for a soft, modern, non-shiny look
• Durable ceramic that's easy to wipe clean
• No tap hole or overflow for a clean, uncluttered bowl
• A little more bowl space than the 360mm, still compact
• Pairs with Duravit DuraPoint wall-mounted console units

Good to know before you buy

• A sit-on bowl needs a tall basin mixer or a wall-mounted tap. A standard height mixer will be too short to reach over the rim, and it's one of the most common mistakes we see, so check the spout height before you order.
• There's no overflow, so you'll need an unslotted (non-overflow) basin waste. The tap and waste are both sold separately.
• To keep the matt finish looking its best, clean with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and skip scouring pads.
