A round mirror does something a rectangle cannot: it breaks up a room built almost entirely from straight lines. The Voda Lumo Round is 600mm across with a ring of LEDs around the edge, and it earns its place as a focal point above a basin, in a cloakroom or over a dressing area.
It runs on 8 x AA batteries rather than a mains supply, so there is no spur to run and no wall to chase, and the perimeter lighting gives a soft ambient glow rather than the hard downlight most bathrooms already have too much of. The LEDs are energy efficient and long lived, which matters more than usual when the power is coming from batteries. It can be hung in either orientation, so there is no wrong way up to get right on the wall.
