Lifting the tap off the basin and onto the wall clears the whole countertop and takes the awkward cleaning job around the tap base with it. The Voda Vero Wall Mounted Basin Mixer does that with a slim round spout and a single lever set above it. A warm-grey brushed nickel with a gentle sheen, softer than chrome and flattering to both cool and warm colour schemes.
The visible fitting sits 50mm high and 150mm wide, projecting 270mm from the wall, which gives enough reach for both inset and countertop basins. It is a first-fix item, so the pipework and valve body need to be planned in before the wall is closed up and tiled. A 1.0 bar minimum operating pressure applies, with a 5 bar ceiling.
