The bathroom is the main place in the home that we try to stay away from when it’s time for a Spring clean. It may be a private place but it does need to be neat and clean all of the time. If you find that you’re having a hard time keeping it organised and tidy then you’ve come to the right place! Here are a few straight forwards tips on how to keep your bathroom in line.

1. Keep it spic and span – If you want your bathroom to look organised the key is to keep it clean. Make it one of your habits to clean your bathroom regularly and in the long run it will get much easier and less of an effort. An organised bathroom is a bathroom free from dirt, so make sure you throw away anything that is no longer in use.

2. Keep all of your cleaning materials in one place – In other words you need to hide your cleaning materials! Exposing them to any visitor will make your bathroom look cluttered and unorganised, if you install a small cabinet and use this to contain anything you like with it still looking smart.

3. Baskets – If you’re looking for a shabby chic look baskets are the perfect option for you when hoping to achieve an organised bathroom. Keeping the basket neat and in a corner where it isn’t too noticeable is a great way of keeping the clutter away.

4. Wall shelves are perfect for smaller bathrooms as they don’t take up as much room as a cabinet and don’t occupy any floor space. The great things about wall shelves is the fact you can install the exact amount of space you need, one, two, three shelves, it’s up to you!

5. Towels are important for the bathroom but could cause a little bit of clutter if left on the side. A good idea is to get a heated towel rail, this way your bathroom is nice and toasty and so are the towels, but most importantly you don’t have to take up too much room for two separate fixtures.

6. Using containers of the same style and design will keep them all in a neat and stylish fashion without a mismatch of items and fixtures. You could even use these to create an accent colour for your bathroom, so pick a colour you like!

We hope these few tips will help you to create a neat and tidy bathroom that any visitor would be delighted to visit, but most importantly a bathroom you’re proud of!
